About Us

Welcome to Cooking Roses. We are Amy and Lauren, a mother and daughter who love to cook together. On the blog we'll be sharing Rose Family favorite recipes and other recipes we love. As the kids in our family leave home, they will have an easy way to access our recipes, and at the same time we can share them with you!

Amy is married to David and has 4 children, 1 boy and 3 girls. She loves to run (especially trail running in the mountains), play in water, read and laugh a lot. Lauren is the second oldest (the oldest daughter) and has loved being in the kitchen from the time she could stand.

We have lived in Utah our whole lives, but this past year our family went on an adventure and spent half of the year in other countries. We love to travel and have a big list of places we want to go. One of our favorite things about traveling is the opportunity to try new foods, either in restaurants or from the grocery store. We even cooked some authentic recipes while we were visiting those countries.
